Flying Car AI Video Prompt

Below are two prompts you can paste as they are: one for the Make My Car Fly clip and one for the Roadster Ramp stunt. Both work best with a photo of your car attached. Each one spells out the order of events and keeps the car looking like yours, which is where most attempts fail. If you would rather skip prompts entirely, RoadsterAI's two templates have them built in.

Example Clips Made With RoadsterAI

AI example: Make My Car Fly, 10 seconds: a fictional driver and an unbadged car, rendered by RoadsterAI.
AI example: Roadster Ramp, a 5-second test render of an unbadged car. The finished template makes 12 seconds.

Prompt 1: Make My Car Fly (Two Photos)

Attach a photo of yourself first and a photo of your whole car second, then paste this. Swap the words in square brackets for your own.

Vertical 9:16 video, 10 seconds, photorealistic, warm sunset light on an empty coastal road. The camera stays behind the car at eye level for the whole clip.

The person is the one in the first photo. The car is the [colour] [make and model] from the second photo: keep its exact body shape, paint colour, wheels and tail lights in every frame.

1. The person walks away from the camera to the driver's door.
2. They glance back over their shoulder and smile.
3. They get in and shut the door.
4. Only after the door is shut, four rocket boosters under the rear bumper ignite with blue-white flames and white smoke.
5. The car lifts off nose first and climbs into the sky until it is a small dot.

The four wheels stay round and on their axles the whole time. Sound: footsteps, the door closing, the engine starting, a deep booster roar. No music, no text, no logos, a blank number plate.

Kept the car from the front in your photo? Add "the rear of the car must match a real [make and model]" — the tool has to invent the rear, because the camera sits behind the car.

Prompt 2: Roadster Ramp Stunt (One Car Photo)

Attach one photo of your car, ideally from behind or a rear three-quarter angle, then paste this.

Vertical 9:16 video, realistic night-time car stunt on a dark, empty set with one tall curved ramp of pale concrete lined with thin red lights. The ramp rises from the floor, bends past vertical and curls over at the top.

The car is the [colour] [make and model] from the photo: the same body shape, paint colour, wheels and tail lights in every shot, including upside down.

1. Low shot from behind the car at the foot of the ramp; it launches.
2. Wide, locked-off shot: it races up the ramp until it is driving straight up.
3. It follows the curl over the top and drives upside down along the lip.
4. It leaves the lip and turns exactly one flip back to wheels-down.
5. Only after the flip, four thrusters under the car fire blue-white jets straight down and it hovers.
6. It sinks into a big cloud of white smoke on the floor and drives out of it.

The wheels never fold, glow or turn into thrusters. Sound: engine, tyres on concrete, wind, a deep thruster blast. No music, no people, no text, no logos, a blank number plate.

If your tool caps clips at 5 or 6 seconds, cut it into two prompts: steps 1–3, then steps 4–6 starting from the last frame of the first clip.

What Usually Goes Wrong, and the Fix

These four come up again and again with photo-to-video tools. Each fix is a line you add to the prompt or a change to the photo.

  • The rear or the badge drifts. The tail lights change shape, or a made-up logo appears on the boot. Fix: say "no logos, a blank number plate" and describe the tail lights in words, for example "thin full-width red light bar".
  • The wheels warp. They fold flat, glow, or turn into the thrusters. Fix: add "four round normal wheels on their axles for the whole clip" and name the thrusters as separate parts under the car.
  • Things happen in the wrong order. The boosters fire before the door shuts, or before the flip on the ramp. Fix: number the beats as in the prompts above and write "only after" in front of the ignition.
  • One photo means the hidden side is guessed. With only a front photo, the rear is rebuilt by the model and may not match your car. Fix: use a photo of the side the camera will see. For the flying clip, a rear three-quarter shot is safest if the tool lets you add a second car photo.

Using These Prompts in Kling, Seedance and Hailuo

Only what each maker's own pages say, checked on Oct 18, 2026. None of the three documents a negative prompt on the pages we could read, so the prompts above say what to avoid in plain words ("no logos", "no text") instead.

What this means for the prompts: both fit within Seedance's recommended length. Prompt 1 needs a photo of you, so in a tool that runs Seedance through its API, check the tool's own rules on photos of people first. Prompt 2 needs only a car photo. If a tool caps clips shorter than 10 to 12 seconds, use the split in the note under Prompt 2.

One that numbers each beat in order and repeats that the car must stay the same. Start from Prompt 1 on this page and fill in your car's colour, make and model.

Yes. Paste one of the prompts above into ChatGPT, tell it your car's make, model and colour, and ask it to adapt the wording; then paste the result into your video tool together with your photo.

You need a photo if you want your own car. Text alone gives you a car that looks like the description, not the one in your driveway.

Because the model only knows the side of the car your photo shows. Use a photo of the side the camera will film, and describe the lights and wheels in words.

About 10 seconds for the flying clip and 12 for the ramp stunt, which is what RoadsterAI's templates make. If your tool allows less, split the prompt into two clips.

No. Each RoadsterAI template has its prompt built in, so you only add photos.
